FAMILY & SPECIAL EVENTS

We believe that family and community are essential to our programs and a big part of everything we do. We offer various family or special events throughout the year. Family time at the Y is about giving families as a unit, and as individuals, the opportunities to deepen relationships, develop new skills and interests, improve their health and well-being, and connect to the community. The Y has always been a place where families can play and be active together, and that’s more important than ever. Whether the activities are physical like sports or exercise classes, or more recreational like swimming and arts, we want families doing them together because you’ll live healthier and make memories for a lifetime.

Healthy Kids Day

April 20, 2024

Every year the Stevens Point Area YMCA dedicates a day to let kids explore their interests and try something new! This year, we will have a variety of different community groups here to showcase ways kids can get more involved! Join us this April 20th for an amazing Healthy Kids Day!

Swim into Stories

Free event to all!

Come listen to amazing story time by the Portage County Public Library, followed by family swim time. Slide and Mushroom will be on! *Pool rules apply!* Children 6 and under MUST have an adult in the pool with them. Children 7-13 have to have a parent on the pool deck. Lifejackets available for use.

Mother Daughter Day

Join us this Mother's Day weekend for an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, adventure, and cherished memories.

Try your hand at archery, slingshot, arts and crafts, team building, games, and water activities!

Lunch will be provided.

WHO: Mothers and Daughters, or those who feel like mothers and daughters!
