LITs gain hands-on experience by assisting counselors in traditional Day Camp groups while also bonding with fellow LITs through personal development, mentorship, and team-building activities.

Counselors In Training (CIT) · Ages 15-17

The Counselors in Training (CIT) Program is more than just a summer of fun—it's about making a real difference. As a CIT, teens help shape meaningful camp experiences for younger campers, share their love for the outdoors, and strengthen the sense of community that makes Camp Glacier Hollow so special.

Designed for teens who are 15 years old or have completed two summer of LIT, this program challenges participants to grow as leaders while gaining hands-on experience assisting counselors throughout the summer. Through mentorship, personal development, and real-world possibility, CITs build confidence, communication skills, and the ability to lead with heart and purpose.
